Russia says it’s ready for prolonged conflict in Ukraine as its troops continue to make slow progress in the Donbass region, in country’s east.

Ukraine says the Russian invasion is in the “most active” phase as Russia tries to capture the eastern Donbas region.

Moscow said that it will continue until all of its objectives have been met.
