Boston Dynamics’ dog-like robot “Spot” can now perform tasks such as carrying objects and opening doors with the new arm extension unveiled in February 2021. The addition even allows the robot to play jump ropes and dance.
Other new features include self-charging capabilities and remote control. The robotic company said Spot was poised to help humans in difficult scenarios as companies turn to automation and artificial intelligence in the workplace during the pandemic.
