An annual feast hosting thousands of monkeys in Thailand’s Lopburi province was held on November 26, 2023, with plates of fresh fruit, vegetables and desserts laid out for the animals. The event has been organised for 35 years by local businessman Yongyuth Kitwattananusorn as a way to boost tourism in the province and thank the primates for their role in the industry’s success.
