Grown-up fan Ryoko Baba says that many Japanese adults turned to Licca-chan when they were stuck at home during the pandemic and picked up new hobbies. Baba is among the growing number of Japanese adults who create Licca-chan related content for social media platforms, often generating millions of views and clicks with what they post.
