Germany helps pay energy bills as prices soar – BBC News

The German government has promised to pay a monthly gas bill for all households and small businesses in December.

They plan on spending around €300 billion ($310 billion; £260 billion) on measures to protect people and industry from rising prices, particularly energy bills.

Most Germans have already received a one-time payment of €300.
