Footage has emerged of a nine-year-old girl being saved by three university students after becoming trapped in a frozen lake in northwest China. The video was shot in the city of Zhangye, in Gansu province on November 27, 2021. According to reports, the students initially helped bring a five-year-old girl standing on the broken ice to shore before returning to rescue the nine-year-old. The two girls were reportedly on the ice when the surface suddenly collapsed. They are now safe and sound, thanks to the students.
