Chinese President Xi Jinping has told US President Joe Biden that China and the US need mutual respect to ensure “peaceful coexistence” between the two countries. The two leaders spoke in a long-anticipated virtual summit on November 16, 2021, their first face-to-face interaction since Biden took office 10 months ago.
