WWII battle site tours by military buffs keep Hong Kong's rich history alive

A group of history buffs set up Watershed Hong Kong in 2015 to help preserve the city’s rich military past. To date, members have conducted more than 40 World War II re-enactment tours at key former British military facilities around Hong Kong. Co-founder Taurus Yip said he hopes to help Hongkongers find a sense of pride and belonging to the city, and raise civic education among the younger generation.
