QUESTIONS COVERED:

1. I love listening to music and watching good TV programs but I tend to condemn myself thinking that I am not supposed to be doing so. I worry that God is not able to work with me because I promise to cut back on my watching but I don’t. Am I addicted or am I judging myself too harshly? I told God I will give it up if I know for sure I’m in the wrong. Is it ok to watch tv and listen to music?

2. Can you please explain Jeremiah 31:31-34 & Hebrews 8:7-13? It appears that God’s covenant is with the nation of Israel only because they are the first fruits. However, gentiles have been grafted into the olive tree as stated in Romans 11. Please explain.

3. When Adam and Eve were in the garden, how did they know what death was?

4. Where in the Bible does it say that Noah preached for 120 years?

5. Jesus was without sin, so why was He baptized?

6. “For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit, he speaks mysteries.” I Corinthians 14:2 NKJV. What does this scripture mean especially “in the spirit he speaks mysteries mean”? Can you please explain 1 Corinthians 14:2?

7. Is it wrong to encourage others to work on the Sabbath for our convenience of going to church?

8. Can you please explain Luke 18:18 & 19?

9. Should Seventh-day Adventist Christians go to funerals and weddings on the Sabbath day?

10. If I know that God is all-powerful, He knows the future, He made the past & present, He knows everything, and He knows my heart’s desires. Do I have to ask Him for anything? He gives me what I need and what I deserve no matter what I pray and ask for. He gives what He knows is best so do I even have to pray and ask you for anything? If God knows me then why do I need to pray?

11. I have been an SDA for 40 years and still lack that perfect peace I heard people talk about, what am I missing, can you share some scriptures with me? Why am I lacking perfect peace?

12. How could Jesus have been with God at creation when he wasn’t even born till 4,000 years later? Was Jesus with God at creation?
