Early results in US midterm polls are indicating a close fight for the control of Congress.
That defies Pre-poll projections that had indicated big gains for the Republican Party in what is being called the most consequential election in a generation.
Tens of millions of people turned out to vote on Tuesday – for congressional, state, and local races.
The outcome will affect what President Joe Biden’s administration can achieve in the next two years.
