Ukrainians prepared for a nationwide power outage on October 20, 2022. Officials are restricting the power supply to enable repairs to energy facilities damaged by Russian air strikes. President Volodymyr Zelensky said that 30 per cent of Ukraine’s power stations have been damaged in just over a week. Three more facilities were hit by attacks on October 19.
