Turkey: Security camera captures moment first earthquake struck

The first magnitude 7.8 struck at 4:17am (01:17 GMT) on February 6 and was centred in the Pazarcik district of Kahramanmaras province in Turkey.
Less than 12 hours later, a second magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck the region. More than 100 aftershocks were recorded following the quakes, with officials urging people not to enter damaged buildings due to the risks.

Al Jazeera’s Alexi O’Brien looks back at how the first hours of the disaster unfolded.
