Veteran Hong Kong actor Kenneth Tsang Kong was found dead on April 27, 2022, in a Tsim Sha Tsui hotel-quarantine room after returning from Singapore. He was staying in the room on his own. The 87-year-old actor had appeared in more than 220 films after obtaining a degree in architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, in the United States. Speaking fluent English, he starred in Hollywood productions such as The Replacement Killers in 1998 and played a supporting role in the 2002 James Bond movie Die Another Day. Tsang won Best Supporting Actor at the 34th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2015 for his role in the crime thriller Overheard 3. He had reportedly tested negative for Covid-19, had been vaccinated with 3 doses and had no chronic illness.
