The United Nations says it needs $2.6bn to help people affected by the crisis in Sudan and additional funding for refugees in neighbouring countries.
Fighting between Sudan’s army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces has escalated even as negotiations continue in Saudi Arabia.
