South Korea’s cherry blossoms bloom early due to climate change

In South Korea, crowds have been enjoying the peak of the cherry blossom season.
Festivals were scaled down or cancelled during the coronavirus pandemic.
But a changing climate is causing the flowers to bloom earlier every year.
