South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol was in Pocheon, South Korea to oversee live-fire drills held jointly with the US on June 15, 2023. The drills were in response to last month’s failed attempt by North Korea to launch a spy satellite. In response, Pyongyang fired two missiles off its east coast on the same day.
