Proud Boys leader sentenced to 22 years in prison for Capitol riot | Al Jazeera Newsfeed

The former leader of the right-wing group the Proud Boys was sentenced to 22 years in prison for his part in directing the January 6 attack on the US Capitol. The judge said Enrique Tarrio was “at the top of the command structure”. Federal prosecutors had sought a 33-year sentence.
