Tourism officials in the Philippines have been left red-faced after the creators of a video promoting the Southeast Asian archipelago as a holiday destination admitted they had used stock shots from other countries. Advertising agency DDB Philippines apologised on July 2, 2023, for the “highly inappropriate” images, which included rice terraces in Indonesia and sand dunes in Brazil.
