The European Union has condemned the widespread violence in Peru during anti-government protests.
On Saturday, police in the capital Lima evicted demonstrators from a university where poor protesters from around Peru had taken shelter.
They want President Dina Boluarte to resign and her predecessor, Pedro Castillo, to be released from jail.
