There is growing anger across India, where authorities have demolished the homes of Muslims in Uttar Pradesh state.
They say they were targeted after taking part in recent protests.
The demonstrations were held after two officials from the governing BJP party made comments about the Prophet Muhammad, that many considered offensive.
