Original Wuhan ‘ground zero’ hospital workers aid Shanghai in battle against Covid-19

A team of experienced medical staff from Wuhan arrived in Shanghai on April 6, 2022, to help fight the latest surge in Covid-19 infections. To support the latest mass testing in Shanghai, around 1,000 medical workers have been dispatched to makeshift hospitals that started operations in Shanghai recently. Wuhan was where the first coronavirus cases were discovered in late 2019.
