A four-year-old Australian girl has been found alive and well 18 days after she was abducted from a remote campsite. Police in Western Australia said Cleo Smith was discovered on November 3, 2021, alone in a locked house in the coastal town of Carnarvon, about an hour’s drive from where she was taken on October 16. Her disappearance sparked an extensive air, sea and ground search, and nationwide joy after she was found. Police said a 36-year-old Carnarvon man was taken into custody, but has not yet been charged.
