RT’s German-language service, RT DE has been accused of not having the necessary documentation to broadcast in Germany. RT management has responded saying its license was ‘obtained in accordance with all European laws and regulations.’

The EU media regulator’s representative ,Tobias Schmid, had some ominous words for the new channel, calling RT DE a ‘nuisance’ that needs to be ‘taken care of.’
