Israel has launched several air strikes on the Gaza strip.
Israel launched the strikes after several rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel before dawn on Thursday.
The rocket launches came after the Gaza-based Palestinian Islamic Jihad group condemned the Israeli military’s raid in Nablus as a “major crime” that the “resistance must respond to”.
The Israeli raid in Nablus was one of the deadliest operations in the occupied West Bank since the second Intifada of 2000-2005.
