It was only about a year ago that Vivian Siu first picked up a surprising hobby – car racing. In only a few months, she would go from zero experience in motorsports to become the first and only female racer in the history of the F4 Chinese Championship. In November 2023, Siu made history again by becoming the first female driver to complete the Macau Grand Prix in Formula 4. Since she is also a full-time hedge fund salesperson at UBS, she must work hard to balance office work with training. In this episode of Listen to Her, Post reporter Lisa Cam spoke with Siu about her racing journey and how she hopes to inspire other women to find roles in the motorsports industry.
