Hong Kong community groups fight to preserve iconic neon signs

For decades Hong Kong has been known for the neon signs lining its streets. In the 1970s, there were around 80,000 estimated neon signs around the city.
Now there are estimated to be only a few hundred left, as Hong Kong authorities seek to remove many of them.
Community groups are pushing to preserve Hong Kong’s famous glow.

Al Jazeera’s Jessica Washington reports from Hong Kong.
