DR Congo 'state of siege': Call to end martial law after protesters killed
Civil society groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo are urging the government to lift the so-called ‘state of siege’ in the east of the country.
At least 46 people were killed in an army crackdown in Goma on Wednesday as people gathered to protest against the United Nations’ mission in the country.
Al Jazeera’s Barbara Angopa reports.
