Belarus sets up shelters for refugees stranded on border

Belarus has set up shelters for some of the asylum seekers and refugees stuck on the border with Poland. Thousands had been living in makeshift camps.
Belarus has been increasing its efforts to demonstrate its humane treatment of the refugees, while yesterday, Poland used tear gas and water cannon on people trying to cross the border.
With no signs of the political standoff between the EU and Belarus will end soon, the refugees and asylum seekers on the border may be stuck for a while.
