A whale carcass has been found by fishermen in Hong Kong’s eastern waters, after a rare cetacean sighting stirred up a social media storm in the city for two weeks. The carcass was spotted on July 31, 2023, floating belly up off Shelter Island in Sai Kung in Hong Kong’s New Territories.
