Gunfire heard at the scene of Kazakhstan protests

Deadly protests in Kazakhstan’s largest city Almaty have left scenes of devastation and reports of gunfire. Kazakhstan’s authoritarian leader says he has ordered security forces to “fire without warning”, amid a violent crackdown on anti-government protests.
