Military doctors in Sri Lanka removed what’s been confirmed by the Guinness World Records as the world’s-largest kidney stone on June 1, 2023. Extracted from a 62-year-old retired soldier, the stone weighed 801 grams (28.25oz), over five times the weight of an average male kidney, and measuring 13.37 centimetres (5.26in) long.
