Nasa conducted its first commercial launch at a location outside the US on June 26, 2022, with a historic lift-off from Australian soil. After a series of weather-related delays, the suborbital-sounding rocket took off from the Arnhem Space Centre on a mission to study interstellar X-rays emanating from the Alpha Centauri A and B star systems.
