MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Japan has started a construction of the Self-Defense Forces’ military base on an uninhabited island in southwestern prefecture Kagoshima to relocate military exercises using US carrier-borne fighter jets, press reported on Thursday, citing the Japanese Defense Ministry.
