North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has visited the nation’s key munitions factories, which produce tactical missiles, missile launch platforms, armoured vehicles and artillery shells. State media KCNA said on August 14, 2023, that Kim ordered a ramp-up in weapons production before annual military drills held by the US and South Korea.
