First US military action under Biden draws criticism

The US is defending its decision to bomb a target in Syria.
The attack on what is alleged to be a base of an Iranian backed militia is the first known military operation carried out by the Biden administration. Iran has “strongly” condemned the attacks as “illegal aggression”.
