Details emerge of woman’s desperate fight to be saved from collapsed building in China

Rescuers in the central Chinese city of Changsha pulled a ninth survivor from the rubble of a mixed-use building that collapsed on April 29, 2022, with at least 23 people inside. The woman was found after she knocked on the debris until emergency crews heard her calls for help. She was listed in stable condition. Two others were found dead, but nearly a dozen more remain missing.
