The death toll from the rare downpours in the Chinese capital Beijing caused by Tropical Storm Doksuri, has risen to 11. Twenty-seven people remain missing as China’s capital recorded its heaviest rainfall in more than 70 years. The storm also affected other parts of northern China, with at least nine people reported dead in neighbouring Hebei province, according to state broadcaster CCTV.
