Authorities in northern Kenya are giving out thousands of camels to herding communities who’ve depended on cattle to survive for thousands of years.
People living in semi-arid areas of northern Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia are recovering from the worst drought in about 40 years.
It wiped out entire herds of livestock, resulting in food shortages for about 30 million people.
