The Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital in New Delhi, one of India’s largest hospitals that only treats coronavirus cases, is so overwhelmed by Covid-19 cases that patients are being placed two to a bed. India had reported record-high cases of more than 200,000 new infections on April 16, 2021, as the country continues to battle a second coronavirus wave.
