A Starbucks customer in southern China’s Shenzhen claimed that she had found a live cockroach in her drink and posted a photo of it on her social media account. The post soon went viral. The company then looked into the case and announced that no pest-related issues had been found at the shop, and that their staff had closely followed all company hygiene guidelines.
