Three Chinese nationals and a Pakistani citizen were killed in the port city of Karachi when the van they were in exploded on April 26, 2022.The Chinese victims, two men and a woman, taught at the University of Karachi’s Confucius Institute, a Chinese cultural and language programme supported by Beijing. The Balock Liberation Army’s Majeed Brigade, a suicide squad, has claimed responsibility for the attack.
